on 5. June 2008. This year the slogan of "Kick the Habit! Towards a Low Carbon Economy" was chosen by the UNEP initiative in order to ask companies and individuals to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. For those who are interested, you might check the following homepage: UNEP

Also my office is showing the following movie in the afternoon: “11th Hour” which is about...

Narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio, written and directed by Leila Conners Petersen and Nadia Conners, the 11th Hour describes the last moment when change is possible. The film explores how humanity has arrived at this moment; how we live, how we impact the earth's ecosystems, and what we can do to change our course. The film features dialogues with experts from all over the world, including former Soviet Prime Minister Mikhail Gorbachev, renowned scientist Stephen Hawking, former head of the CIA R. James Woolsey and sustainable design experts William McDonough and Bruce Mau in addition to over 50 leading scientists, thinkers and leaders who present the facts and discuss the most important issues that face our planet.

By the way, I am traveling by train at the weekend :-)
Well most of you think I am on vacation here anyways but thats just half of the truth as I am doing actual work here. However I am going on leave on Friday and Monday which gives me a long weekend! My plans are to go to the east, exactly to Chennai and Pondicherry which are next to the sea :-)

Some more news... So well, if anyone is interested: my little sister just passed her A-levels. Yuhu...

Furthermore, I am still not married...do not know if thats good or bad news :-)
